want to plan a honeymoon treat

I will be travelling to orlando with my husband on july 7th for our honeymoon for two weeks. We are staying in all star movies for a week then going to clearwater for the 2nd week.

I want to plan something really special for my husband in disney but don%26#39;t where to start. We have park tickets for disney and universal but want to plan a little suprise. Can anyone suggest something special that I can arrange in disney or universal and how I might go about booking it? We have both been to Disney before however this time it%26#39;s our honeymoon and i%26#39;m a hopeless romantic!

Thanks.

Book reservations at the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary Resort. You can get late evening reservations and watch the fireworks while you enjoy your dessert!

=^..^=

Thanks for the advice. Will check these things out.

Thanks again.x

tell them its your honeymoon and they will give you mickey and minney hats that are ';bridal';. I am sure it will make the staff treat you better.

I dont really think of disney as romantic, in fact the hotel you are staying at will be jammed with children. jammed.

maybe an afternoon at the spa at the grandfloridan might bring you back to adult paradise.

I agree with SeminoleGirl - that hotel for some reason really gets all the kids.

Does he like to golf? You could get him a tee time - their courses are excellent.

Another dinner suggestion - something at Epcot during their fireworks show/Illumination - something at the world showcase.

Afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian is way cool too.

It%26#39;s not exactly in Disney but how about a balloon ride? They start at around 6am and are finished by the time the parks open so you wouldn%26#39;t feel that you had missed anything.

Most of the flight paths go around the Disney area so you really get a different perspective.

Congratulations too!

book a specialty cruise for the two of you out on the water to view the fireworks display...that would be so romantic!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

The kids don%26#39;t bother us. We%26#39;re there for the disney magic and it%26#39;s only a week. Only booked it coz it was cheap and we wanted to stay on disney. Couldn%26#39;t justify spending thousands on just a hotel room when we have spent quite a bit on our wedding.

We will have the romance in clearwater. Hopefully not as many kids either.

Keep the suggestions coming as they are great ideas.

I%26#39;m with blondepuff on the balloon ride option, if they know it is for a special occasion they will do a champagne celebration, it is a wonderful treat you will never forget.
