Condo suggestion for 3 30 something professional guys

Myself and two friends are going to be doing a weekend trip to Siesta Key the weekend after Memorial Day. We would like someplace nice %26amp; upscale (we are willing to pay a little extra $ for a right place) that is close to (ideally on) the beach and easy walking distance to the Village. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Tom

The condos which are considered upscale are not in walking distance of Siesta Village.

The Palm Bay Club is very nice. www.palmbayclub.com Some units are on the beach and the complex has many amenities.

Have you considered the Lido Beach Resort on Lido Key?

This has everything and you can be close to St. Armands Circle

(walk or take shuttle.) Dining, shopping, nightlife.

Here is a link for Siesta Key lodging:

If you see something that looks good, I%26#39;ll give you an opinion.

SRQ Girl,

Thank you for the reply and suggestions. I live in Tampa so I am familiar with the area (my friends are coming in from out of state) and for the purposes of this weekend would prefer the Key West vibe of Siesta Key Vilalge over the more upscale St. Armands/Lido. I think my friends would We will be doing dinner at the Columbia in St. A one night though!

Any thoughts on Tropical Breeze Resort?

Thanks!

Tom

Tropical Breeze is on Ocean Blvd. in Siesta Village. It is not on Siesta Beach, however. If you click on the ';Hotels'; heading at the top of this page you can read reviews. Most people write favorable opinions. You could literally walk out your door and be in the Village.

I would not compare Siesta Village to Key West though. Totally different places. We don%26#39;t have any bars that compare. (I speak from many years of experience in KW bars). There is the Siesta Key Oyster Bar, Daquiri Deck and the popular Beach Club.

We just got back and I took a picture of this beach house right on the beach. Second floor would be ideal It looked really nice from the outside...they have some construction going on in the front of the house...looks like they are putting a new drive in cause the cement is all torn up but you could ask when that is going to be finished. Anyways, awesome views from that place. Dont know anything about the inside except for this site http://www.sandboxonthebeach.com/ Not sure if there is a pool at this place and not too bad of a walk to the bars.
