Discovery Cove Twilight Experience

Can anyone recommend the twilight visit to Discovery Cove? How does it compare to the daytime experience?

Anyone??? Please!

Discovery Cove Twilight Experience

I wouldn麓t recommend it...

Costs are nearly the same!

You get in later and only have 2 hours for the different areas...

then you麓ll get inside the restaurant area for a happening...

I would prefer the whole day there!!

We did twilight discovery last year and it was FANTASTIC! We arrived early so were booked in and had been shown around by the time we were officially supposed to be arriving. Many people were leaving after being there during the day so it was really quiet. We had lots of time to explore, have a drink from the bar, snorkel, see the aviary, and go into stingray lagoon! We then did our dolphin experience before changing for dinner. The meal was really nice - a waiter shows you to your table and brings drinks, but you then serve yourself by going up to counters where chefs prepare your food. You can go up and down as much as you like, but make sure to leave room for the desert tent! There was a steel band playing as we ate and it was a really magical experience. I would recommend it to anyone!

Thanks for that positive response! I thought it may be a %26#39;more adult%26#39; experience for the 4 adults in our company rather than the daytime experience which I thought may be busier and attended by lots of families and children [not that we don%26#39;t like families and children!].

Can you tell me what time you arrived and booked in? And is there any %26#39;dress code%26#39; for dinner? Thanks!

NIrelandSara, what dolphin experience ? I didn%26#39;t think they had the swimming with the dolphins at the Twilight Experience.

They h a v e the dolfin experience ... They let you in at 3 pm. so you have 2 hours for that and the pools...

i guess it was 5 when they started to go to the dinner show...

so you c a n go with the dolfins, stingrays and into the reef. but only for 2 hours!

bars and aviary are open too, of course ...

but unfortunatly it is almost the same price as normal...

some of the above post had some wrong info, I am doing the twilight swim on june 8th and just got off the phone with a rep and they said that everything closes at 5:30. then all the day time people have to leave . then 5:45 the coral reef , ray lagoon , and another one of the pools reopens till dusk (around 7pmish according to her) then from 7-9pm is the nice dinner and dessert. have a great time ! i know i will
