hi! does anyone know anything about the bentley beach hotel. i%26#39;ve read such mixed reviews...

I%26#39;ve been in the rooms at the Bentley Beach hotel and they are very nice. Large bathrooms and balconies, flatscreen plasma tvs, mini-kitchens, very comfortable and in a great location within close proximity to great shopping, dining, and clubs. I think a lot of people get discouraged by the fact that it does not have that resort feel, the pool is just a regular pool, and the lobby is small. The rooms more than make up for its shortcomings, i would certainly recommend it.

Also...not that this is unique on South Beach, but they have lounge chairs for hotel guests on the beach behind the hotel, and that particular strip of beach is very popular and ';happening'; on the weekends. Also Also (ha)...the hotel is adjacent to Nikki Beach, which is a big party on Sunday afternoons: club music, drinks flowing, young hotties.
