Recommendation for Italian Restaurant

CMJ33140 posted this in answer to another question on here asking where to find good Northern Italian food:

Reasonably prices is hard to find on SoBe, but two of the best Northern Italian restaurants are Quattro and Escopazzo. Quattro is far more trendy, scene-y. Escopazzo is a bit more traditional, kind of romantic, but also good for just about any occasion. Both are very good and authentic, however I would say Escopazzo is a little more inventive with their menu.

A more reasonably priced option is Sylvano%26#39;s in the SoFi (south of fifth) neighborhood. Really good food, lots to choose from, cozy atmosphere, popular with the locals. It%26#39;s not strictly Northern Italian, but it%26#39;s great Italian nonetheless. It%26#39;s on Collins Avenue between 1st and 2nd streets I believe. They have another location on Alton Road, but this one is by far the best of the two.

Enjoy!

There are so many Italian restaurants - you can pay a little or a lot and eat like a king.

On the moderate end of the spectrum, Rosinella, Sport Cafe, Spris/TiramisU, Piola, Fanuccis and Casa Mia are all lovely.

Grazie, Locanda Sibilla, Sardinia, Osteria del Teatro, Macalousos, ViVi, Ago, Da Leo, Spiga.... all good but more $$.
